Coming soon is the "mini-code" forFire Safety design of low-risk workplaces, with few requirements and measures based on fire risk assessment.
The outline of the interministerial decree (to be signed by the ministers of the Interior and Labor), intended to replace the old DM March 10, 1998, has been presented. The new decree defines criteria for identifying measures to be implemented in low-risk workplaces to prevent and limit the consequences of a fire, as well as precautionary measures to be observed by employers.
Upgrading of existing workplaces is planned within 5 years after the decree comes into force.
