The proposed project includes the creation of library spaces, equipped with furnishings such as square, rectangular and round tables with wood and metal elements, playroom tables, desks, custom-made corner workstations, wooden chairs with metal legs, wooden and metal stools, conference room executive chairs, reading chairs, low-backed and cushion benches, benches with chrome legs, bed benches with chrome-plated steel tube frames, and outdoor metal furniture with wooden seats. As for larger interior furnishings, open wooden bookcases with several compartments and metal magazine racks were provided.
The project also included the installation of single-material sound-absorbing wall panels and LED lighting with applied sound-absorbing panels. Regarding counters, different types were placed, including: information counter, bar counter consisting of hot gourmet counter, refrigerated gourmet counter, refrigerated stainless steel bar counter, and custom-built ticket counter/bookshop.
This setup has helped create a physical space that can activate and provide innovative services that facilitate the enjoyment of library holdings, knowledge and accessibility of cultural-historical heritage and local traditions, paying special attention to families, young people and vulnerable users.
