Newsweek's new annual ranking of the world's best hospitals has been released.
The ranking, lists the best hospitals in 28 different countries from around the world, including the US, Italy, the UK, Germany, Spain and France.
The podium is once again occupied among three U.S. Hospitals: the 'Mayo Clinic' in Rochester, the 'Cleveland Clinic' in Cleveland, and the 'Massachusetts General Hospital' in Boston.
The countries were selected on the basis of multiple comparability factors. Factors such as standard of living/life expectancy, population size, number of hospitals, and data availability.
For the third consecutive year, Italy's top hospital is Policlinico 'Gemelli' in Rome, which ranks 38th.
