The proposed project involves the creation of library spaces, equipped with furnishings such as square, rectangular, and round tables with wood and metal elements, playroom tables, desks, custom-made corner workstations, wooden chairs with metal legs, wood and metal stools, executive conference chairs, reading chairs, low-back benches with cushions, benches with chrome legs, bench beds with chromed steel tube frames, and outdoor metal furniture with wooden seats. As for the larger interior furnishings, open wooden bookcases with various compartments and metal magazine racks were provided.
The project also included the installation of single-material sound-absorbing wall panels and LED lighting with sound-absorbing panels applied. Regarding the counters, several types have been installed, including: information counter, bar counter consisting of a hot gourmet counter, refrigerated gourmet counter, refrigerated stainless steel bar counter and custom-made ticket/bookshop counter.
This installation has helped create a physical space capable of activating and providing innovative services that facilitate the use of the library’s collection, knowledge, and accessibility of the historical-cultural heritage and local traditions, paying particular attention to families, young people, and the most vulnerable users.
