General goals for Health and Safety:

BAWER S.P.A. intends to keep its commitment to such aspects as Occupational Health and Safety constantly high, consolidating its competitiveness through a responsible and correct attitude, through continuous prevention and improvement.

In order to clearly demonstrate our commitment to these issues, the requirements of the UNI ISO 45001 have been applied in the Integrated Management System for many years now, working methods have been developed and constantly implemented to ensure compliance with all international and national labor and health and safety standards, ensure continuous improvement of our performance over time, and promote a transparent and constructive dialogue with all our stakeholders.

With the UNI ISO 45001 standard, BAWER S.P.A. is committed to:

  • Comply with all applicable Health and Safety regulations for workers;
  • Improve the Management System for Safety-related aspects;
  • Carry out periodic health surveillance of workers;
  • To keep our present and future activities and processes in compliance with Health and Safety and Labor standards and regulations;
  • Provide our staff and all those who come to work at our site with the necessary operational tools and training appropriate to the type of work being done;
  • Continuously monitor the presence of hazardous substances within the plant;
  • Disseminate information about company risks to all workers;
  • Carry out all activities with the primary objective of preventing accidents, injuries and occupational diseases;
  • Manage used machinery, facilities, equipment and workplaces in a way that safeguards the health and safety of workers;
  • Periodically review our health and safety projects, systems and goals in light of new information.

 

Overall Goals for the Environment:

  • Taking care of the surrounding environment and maintaining good relations with the people living around the operational site;
  • Pursue a policy of continuous improvement of its environmental performance, minimizing, where technically possible and economically viable, any negative impact towards the environment of its activities;
  • Closely monitor all processes (internal to the company and/or otherwise related to them) on environmental impacts;
  • Pursue pollution prevention with the utmost consideration;
  • Raise awareness of the contents of the Environmental Policy among suppliers of goods and services;
  • Eliminate or reduce emissions, discharges and waste, adopt technological processes that offer the best environmental impacts in technical and economic terms;
  • Use eco-friendly products whenever possible;
  • Implement a careful and selective waste separation management process to improve waste management in recovery and recycling supply chains.
  • Assess the environmental aspects of operational activities and adopt management procedures to ensure that facilities and processes provide the greatest protection for the environment;
  • Carry out training to all employees to encourage any initiative suitable for environmental protection;

General objectives for HOSPITAL TECHNICAL FURNISHINGS

  • To offer customers a service that prioritizes̀ qualitỳ-price ratio while complying with numerous legal requirements while maintaining a standard that always exceeds the required parameters;
  • offer full availabilitỳ and absolute rigor in the timely resolution of any issues;
  • Production of products that fully meet the regulatory and mandatory requirements of applicable pharmacopoeias, standards, guidelines, directives, and laws, as well as the

In order to achieve these objectives, BAWER S.p.A. has implemented a corporate Integrated Management System that meets the requirements of the following schemes: UNI EN ISO 9001, IATF16949, UNI EN ISO 14001, UNI ISO 45001, through an approach based on risk-based thinking methodology for each process and whistleblowing for internal reports.

The goal of the System is to comply with the requirements of the schemes listed above as a means of meeting both the organizational needs of the Company and those of "Customers" and Stakeholders (all interested parties)

 

In particular, continuous improvement goals will be formulated periodically. These goals, defined bysenior management, will be documented and communicated to stakeholders. Corporate objectives, in accordance with scientific and technological progress, will apply to all activities and processes of the facility.

Everyone, within the limits of their respective competencies, should consider Quality,care for the Environment and protection, and Workers' Health and Safety as issues of primary importance and as integral parts of their work activities. All employees are encouraged to suggest proposals for improvement concerning their own activities.

 

Top Management is committed to providing the necessary resources for adequate staff training and efficient maintenance of the Integrated System in order to achieve the highest levels in terms of recognition of economic results and maximum satisfaction of all employees. In particular, a representative of top management has been delegated to serve as the Corporate Integrated System Manager. He or she must ensure effective management of the implemented Corporate Integrated System, interacting with suppliers, employees, Customers and the Certification Body.

This policy is periodically reviewed in order to continuously improve it, taking into consideration changes in legislation, requirements of its code of conduct, etc. This policy is disseminated to all personnel of BAWER S.p.A. through bulletin board evidence and training activities, and available to the public, in an effective form and style, in the possible forms of communication, and in any case always when requested.
